This product is a quantum leap in video production. In the past, I had to time my shots with the knowledge that I could only get a maximum of 90 minutes to a video cassette. Shooting for Television meant that I could change video cassettes every time there was a commercial break, but on a concert shoot, this could be a problem. Normally, we would use two or more cameras for this purpose.
With the Focus Enhancements FS5, I am able to shoot for up to twelve hours at a time which is plenty of time to capture almost any project. Besides the video, I get the multi channel audio and any meta data.
After the shoot is finished, I can simply hook the recorder to any computer and transfer the total project in one pass.
